How every figure on this site is checked

Every number on Kiwis Treasure Check comes from a page on the casino's site or a public register, read on a stated date. Here is the routine, step by step.

How a fact gets onto a page

  1. Open the source. The cashier or banking page, the bonus terms, the general terms, the licence footer, the regulator's register, app store listings.
  2. Copy the wording. The exact sentence or table row goes into a fact sheet with the address, the section or clause, the date and the IP location it was read from.
  3. Compare. If the banner says one thing and the terms another, both are kept. Pages show both and plan around the worse figure.
  4. Publish with a footnote. Each figure on a page carries a [number] that points to the source list at the bottom.
  5. Re-check. Offer and cashier facts are re-read at least once a month; the "checked" date only moves after a new check.

How we handle the IP question

Casinos can show different offers and methods by country. Each source line says whether it was read from a New Zealand IP. When it was not, the page says so in the source list and in the author block, so you know to confirm the detail in your own cashier.

How we treat reviews and complaints

We do not write our own reviews or scores. Where a page mentions a public review site, it gives the score and the number of reviews as shown on a stated date, with a link. Complaint themes are described only with a source.

How the money side works

Login buttons go through a short redirect on this site and open the casino in a new tab. The site may be paid a commission for that; it does not change which facts are published. Details: affiliate disclosure. Why the site covers one casino and who runs it: about this site.
